| dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this quantitative research is to explore, from a communication and digital culture perspective, the dynamics arising from the polarization of the feminist movement in Mexico. The study is based on the analysis of comments on YouTube and Facebook, as well as the hashtags #UNAMFeminista and #UNAMSinTransfobia on Twitter. The focus of this research is the online participation of audiences during the forum held on March 24, 2022, titled "Necessary Clarifications on the Categories of Sex and Gender," organized by the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sciences and Humanities (CEIICH) at UNAM. This study employs a repertoire of digital methodologies to analyze content generated on Internet platforms, including data mining, network analysis, and sentiment analysis of comments on social media platforms. The objective is identifying the main actors in the digital public sphere that influence affective polarization and to examine the risks associated with communicative phenomena such as hate speech and discrimination. This research aims to contribute to feminist movements in México through a communication and digital culture lens, addressing the gap in academic literature on this subject. | es_MX |
