In the context of the discussion about the nature of science in general and social science in particular, the author identifies one of the most frequent concerns in the development of philosophy and epistemology: is knowledge about social life scientific? ? Can there be social science? Does it have the same characteristics as the natural sciences? The answer to these questions, is developed from the hermeneutic position.En el contexto de la discusión acerca de la naturaleza de la ciencia en general y la ciencia social en particular, el autor identifica una de las preocupaciones más frecuentes en el desarrollo de la filosofía y la epistemología: ¿el conocimiento sobre la vida social es científico? ¿Puede haber ciencia social? ¿Tiene las mismas características que las ciencias naturales? La respuesta a estas preguntas, se desarrolla a partir de la postura hermenéutica.
