In this article, I focus on an autobiographical narrative that Anita Brenner wrote in 1925 for the Jewish newspaper of the city of New York, The Jewish Daily Forward, with which she won the contest Our grand prize contest, in June of that year. Through Written Culture and Gender, he examined the social and cultural context of the newspaper and Jewish immigrants in the 1920s in the United States, the historical moment in Anita Brenner's life when she wrote the article and pointed out how that this publication allows her to assume herself publicly as a Jew and as a writer.
