dc.descriptionThe Dance of the Feather is an important tradition preserved by the love, veneration and religious fervor to San Pascual Bailón that still takes place in the state of Aguascalientes. This dance is representative of El Puerto de la Concepción, a community belonging to the municipality of Tepezalá: this dance takes place during the fiesta in which the town organizes every May 17, presumably, the day of San Pascual Bailón. The devotion to this saint keeps the Dance of the Feather alive as a tradition of the people of El Puerto de la Concepción: when executed during the religious festival you can see a clear example of religious syncretism between Catholicism and prehispanic cultural baggage.en-US
dc.descriptionLa Danza de la Pluma es una importante tradición preservada por el amor, veneración y fervor religioso a San Pascual Bailón que aún se realiza en el estado de Aguascalientes. Esta danza es representativa de El Puerto de la Concepción, comunidad perteneciente al municipio de Tepezalá: dicha danza tiene lugar durante la fiesta en la que el pueblo organiza cada 17 de mayo, prescisamente, el día de San Pascual Bailón. La devoción a este santo mantiene vigente a la Danza de la Pluma como una tradició de la gente de El Puerto de la Concepción: al ejecutarla durante la fiesta religiosa se puede observar un claro ejemplo de sincretismo religioso entre el catolicismo y el bagaje cultural prehispánico.es-ES
