dc.descriptionThis article is a first approach to the book, of Agustín R. González, History of the State of Aguascalientes, from a historiographic perspective. Starting with a brief description of this life and trajectory as a public man, the author is ubicated within the political and historiographic environment which surrounded him, in order so later can analyze his most important historic work. A long the text, aspects search as his ideal absolute history, the objectives he had on writing, the sources he utilized and the way he justified the creation of a local history when the consolidation of a nationalistic feeling what was searched during those years.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo en un primer acercamiento al libro de Agustin R. González, Historia del estado de Aguascalientes, desde una perspectiva historiográfica. A partir de una breve descripción de su vida y trayectoria como un hombre público, se ubica al autor en el ambiente político e historiográfico que lo rodeó, para, posteriormente, pasar al análisis de su obra histórica más importante. A lo largo del texto se toman en cuenta aspectos como su idea de la historia, los objetivos que tuvo al escribir, las fuentes que utilizó y la manera como justificó la hechura de una historia local cuando lo que buscaba en esos años era la consolidación de un sentimiento nacionalista.es-ES
